Under the Affordable Care Act, lactation services must be covered.
Know your rights & check with your insurance provider
You may be able to receive services that are fully covered by most major insurers through my partnership with The Lactation Network (TLN).
Patients who use TLN will never pay anything out of pocket and are pre-approved for six 90-minute lactation visits. Restrictions and differences may apply.

Aetna:

TriCare
Lactation Help NY is a Tricare-certified provider and is authorized to receive payment from TriCare.
Self-Pay
For self-pay, payment is due the day of service and you will receive a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Reimbursement amounts are not guaranteed and vary greatly between plans. If going this route, Lactation Help NY strongly encourages you to call your insurance provider and your baby’s insurance provider before booking and confirm coverage so there are no surprises.
We have found that many self-pay clients are not reimbursed by their insurance providers or reimbursed for very small amounts.
